A note from the Founders
We've been heads down building, and today we’re excited to share some news about what we've been up to at Elyos AI.

Our founding team has been working across the field services space for the best part of a decade
Pip and Panos are tenured in field services, with years spent at OVO and Bulb Energy respectively. The problems that large utility scale field services face are no different to the challenges of our smaller, growing trades businesses. It's the same stuff different scale; seasonal variability, no-access visits, scheduling, first contact resolution, high cost to serve etc.
These last few years building Elyos, we've seen the field services industry from every angle. It's solidified the realisation: this industry is in desperate need of change.
While other sectors embraced progress and change, trades and field services remained stuck with poor tech and the same problems. Plumbers still lose customers to competitors simply because they answered the phone first. Electricians working 12-hour days only to spend their evenings doing admin work that a computer could handle in seconds.
It doesn’t have to be this hard.
The first AI Agent built for field services
This year, we launched something totally new: the first AI Agent built specifically for trades and field services.
Not a generic chatbot trying to handle every industry. Not a basic phone service that takes messages and hopes for the best. A proper AI Agent that understands the difference between a gas emergency and a routine boiler service. One that knows how to add response times and SLAs to critical jobs, one that knows how to diagnose a fault before dispatching an engineer.
An agent that speaks the language of trades - because it was built by people who've lived it.
Built for how the industry actually works
Here's what makes Elyos different: our AI Agents are built for the trades with the tools you already use.
We integrate completely with the CRMs you know - Simpro, Joblogic, Commusoft, ServiceTitan, and dozens of others. No ripping out systems that work. No months of training. No forcing teams to learn yet another platform.
We build AI Agents into existing workflows so field services can leverage AI that actually understands their businesses.
The industry is taking notice
We're already working with leading trades and field services businesses across the UK and expanding quickly. Our numbers speak for themselves (more on this soon).
To be honest, the response has been overwhelming. We're onboarding new customers faster than we anticipated, and we know this will just accelerate as we approach winter.
We think this growth comes down to the fact that we've honed in on one specifci space, a space we know and care about. Trades businesses aren't just looking for AI - they're looking for AI that gets it. AI that understands that "no heating and no hot water" means drop everything and respond immediately. AI that knows a "small water leak" could mean anything from a dripping tap to a burst pipe.
We built that AI.
What's next
If you're in the trades industry, the question isn't whether AI will change your business - it's whether you'll lead that change or get left behind.
And if you're someone who's keen to work hard and build fast, we're hiring. We're looking for people who understand that the best technology solves real problems for real people. If that sounds like you, get in touch.
We're just getting started.
